Market Capitalization or Market Cap (MCAP) is the total capitalization of the price of a crypto, meaning it is the collective value of the cryptocurrency. It is one of the many ways to rank the relative size of a crypto coin. It is usually calculated by multiplying the price of a single coin by the number of coins in circulation which further refers to the fact that market cap can be very volatile.
