A QR code is a form of barcode in a square format. The letters QR refers to ‘Quick Response’. The code has many dots, a few small squares and sometimes a small logo in the middle. This is varied from most other barcode types, which are rectangular with lines. A QR code can therefore have much more information. It is often used within the crypto world, to make the address of a ‘wallet’ scannable. This speeds up the process of transferring crypto and prevents errors.
