It is an act of forming or creating a DAO. Typically, the term is used in the context of forming a new Moloch DAO although it can also refer to the formation of any new DAO. The MolochDAO was the very first to be summoned by Ameen Soleimani on February 14th, 2019 at ETHDenver. DAO summoning also refers to the act of assembling the new members in a new DAO. In this kind of summoning, the “DAO Summoner” calls on the individuals to join the DAO assembling the first group of members. In the 201 and later versions, a new DAO can also be summoned with the multiple other initial members and the act is called “multi-summoning”.
