Dead Cat Bounce

A dead cat bounce is defined as the temporary recovery in the prices after a prolonged decrease. In technical analysis, it is a price chart pattern. It occurs in the cryptoassets that are long-term in the downtrend and represents a short recovery which is then followed by a return to the previous low and then continues its downtrend.
