The cloud mining or the mining-as-a-service (MaaS) permits the users to rent the mining capacity of the hardware in companies. It also offers you the power to buy the computing power that is used for mining coins such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC). Mining contract is another term for cloud mining.
