It is an online platform of trusted sources that use a contract to settle a contract. It is ideally a bridge between the real world and blockchain. It finds and verifies the information and offers data to smart contracts for execution of the said contracts under the specified conditions. The oracles offer blockchains with the ability to interact with the off-chain data. In this regard, the oracle manipulation or the oracle price manipulation occurs when an oracle smart contract is manipulated by the hackers and it is most common in the DeFi space.
