Tipset

A tipset is a set and not a chain of blocks that make up the blockchain. Mostly, the term is used for describing the blockchain of the decentralized storage system Filecoin. The consensus mechanism of Filecoin is built on the Tipsets as their Expected Consensus system, unlike the Bitcoin is election-based and permits for the multiple miners to be elected leaders in a round.
