Unbanked

This refers to all those that are either unable to access the banking products and services or choose not to use them at all. These individuals mostly come from marginalized societies and are thus rejected by the traditional financial institutions for various reasons. By far, the Bitcoin and the DeFi projects are the most promising solution to the unbanked as they offer new and innovative applications that mimic the traditional financial products and services that are freely accessible to all.
