Also known as the permissionless ledger or public ledger, it is a ledger that anyone is permitted to access and download. The users can also submit the messages for processes and also be involved in the process of verification, authentication and the consensus protocol for the blockchain transactions. Ethereum and Bitcoin are two examples of the unpermissioned ledgers.
