It is a large-scale purchase or sale of the securities that take place outside of an open market. It utilizes the blockhouse as the financial intermediary for aiding the investors with the risk management. In this method, the traders simultaneously sell or purchase a significant number of the securities keeping the market price unaffected. It is generally carried out by the hedge funds and institutions.
