Peg

A peg is referred to as the specified price for the rate of the exchange between two assets. This is in direct contrast with another term “floating” currencies that bear no hard price target and also follow the looser monetary policy. For example, a stablecoin is a pegged currency whose value is pegged to a real-world crypto asset like the fiat currency.
