Ethereum Classic Investors Rejoice Its 30% Bullish Rally Today

The crypto market has been surging for the last three days now. The  major coins have been gaining immensely. Out of them, Ethereum Classic (ETC) has made one of the most prominent moves as it has gained over 50% in two days. The older version of Ethereum (ETH) surely outperformed its forerunner, the second-largest digital token. In response to this gain, the ETC investors and enthusiasts went gaga. Over 1,500 tweets were made in an hour to celebrate its gains.

Ethereum Classic Price Today

According to data from CoinMarketCap, the ETC token was up by 27.06% and traded at $42.41 at the time of writing on Friday, July 29, 2022.  The market capitalization of Ethereum Classic stood at $5.7 billion, up by 27.08%. Moreover, the 24-hour trade volume of ETC increased significantly by 13.04% and was at $5.4 billion. It represents a surge of about 54% from its price of $27.4 on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. The ETC crypto saw a prominent 7-day price hike as it gained 63.11%.

The ETC token also recorded its 1-month high of $44.97 today. But it then dropped by about 5.6% by the time of reporting. The price at which it has been trading currently also shows a huge increase of 181% from its value at the beginning of July, which was $14.93. Even during the recent crypto crash sessions, the Ethereum Classic token saw a fair performance as it gained about 10% in those bearish sessions. Though the hike was not that high, it was notable as the majority of cryptocurrencies tumbled in that period.

Ethereum, the ‘newer’ version of Ethereum Classic and also the second-largest cryptocurrency saw a gain of 6.44% today, much lower than that of ETC. The 7-day price rise for ETH was also significantly lower and stood at 4.99%.
